Sony XQD: New Type of Memory Card with a speed of 1 GB / s
Sony is the first company to introduce a new type of memory card called XQD. XQD memory card is a new kind of card-based offering read speeds up to 1Gbps. For now Sony has introduced XQD memory to 16GB and 32GB capacities, and will be present in some capacity options. Indeed, for the moment a new DSLR Nikon D4 that are ready to use XQD memory, and the future all the latest DSLR cameras will be used as a substitute XQD CF memory card. XQD Memory can be read via the ExpressCard slot 34 which is usually found in notebooks. For those of you who do not have the slot, the Sony also has offered a memory card reader XQD (MRW model-E80), which also has support USB 3.0.
