Apple"": Apple, Now Back Use "Nvidia" Graphics Card for Mac Pro
In recent years Apple has always used ATI Radeon graphics cards for desktop computers, the Mac Pro. However, for the next Mac Pro, Apple is rumored to be re-used graphics card from Nvidia.
This news comes from website Mic Gadget. According to the website of Chinese technology, the ATI graphics card raises many issues for the Mac Pro, among them the appearance of artifacts, flickering, overhating, and no display. Apple also suffered financial losses due to this.
For the new Mac Pro graphics card, Apple is rumored to have chosen the Nvidia Kepler platform, the plan would be released almost simultaneously with the use of Intel processors code-named Ivy Bridge.
Well, the Intel Ivy Bridge is also rumored to be used for the Intel Mac Pro. The processor is manufactured with 22 nanometer manufacturing technology (nm) and certainly more efficient than previous Intel processors, code-named Sandy Bridge.
Apple has been testing a new 8-core processors with 20MB cache. The problems that exist in the Mac Pro before, including overheating, hopefully not arise. This is all thanks to the use of the transistor "tri-gate" that increase heat dissipation efficiency by 30%.
This latest version of the Mac Pro is expected to be launched in Q3 2012.
