"The Court": Samsung 10 Inch Tablet No Similar iPad
Apple should swallow the disappointment after the District Court of Duesseldorf, Germany, issued the initial ruling that the tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1N (with the letter N in the background) does not look like the iPad.
District Court of Duesseldorf said there were "clear differences" between the Galaxy Tab 10.1N and the iPad.
10.1N Galaxy Tab is a tablet which was redesigned by Samsung specifically for the German market. South Korean vendors are changing the material with a metal material that covers the surface to the edge.
Samsung forced to make design modifications due to the German court had stopped the sale of Galaxy Tab 10.1 on last September 2011. All claims against the backdrop of Apple, which said Galaxy Tab 10.1 infringes any patent design, appearance and feel of iPad.
Smartphones and tablets of the Galaxy family, is seen as a product that Apple copied the iPhone and the iPad. Patent war between the two not only in Germany but also in the United States, Australia, Japan, Korea and several European countries.
Until recently, courts in the Netherlands, the United States and Australia have decided to let Samsung sell the smartphone and tablet Galaxy, although Apple still trying to confronting.
