Intel re-released a bunch of new processors on the market. In total there are seven processors, three Core i5 processors for desktop computers (PCs) and four Celeron processors for mobile devices (laptops).
These three new Core i5 processors based on Sandy Bridge microarchitecture, which has 4 threads (without Hyper Threading), 6MB of L3 cache memory, and thermal design power (TDP) 95 watts.
Here are three new Core i5 model and its price:
Core i5-2380P, clock speed 3.1 GHz (177 U.S. dollars)
Core i5-2450P, clock speed 3.2 GHz (195 U.S. dollars)
Core i5-2550K, clock speed 3.4 GHz (225 U.S. dollars)
For a Core i5-2550K, Intel intended for users who like to overclock (computer "forced" to work on average) with the ease of turbo settings, memory voltage, core, and others.
As for the Celeron model of mobile devices, Intel offers processors with single core or dual core. Apparently, Intel is really serious match the needs of vendors who want to adopt this Celeron processor.
Models with Celeron Dual Core:
B815 Celeron, 1.6 GHz clock speed, 2MB L3 cache (86 U.S. dollars)
Celeron 867, 1.3 GHz clock speed, 2MB L3 cache (134 U.S. dollars)
Models with Single Core Celeron
B720 Celeron, 1.7 GHz clock speed, 1MB L3 cache (70 U.S. dollars)
Celeron 797, 1.4 GHz clock speed, 1MB L3 cache (107 U.S. dollars)
